Having spent the formative years of my life growing up in a village in rural Yorkshire I went on to fall into a career in HR. After a few years I was asked two very important questions by a colleague: “Do you enjoy your job?” and “Are you going to do this for the rest of your life then, Will?”

Now, a few years on on, I live in London and specialise in commercial food and portrait photography, having made my dream of one day becoming a professional photographer a reality.

Personally, I photograph everything under the food industry umbrella, wether that’s chefs, growers, suppliers, restaurants, produce or dishes. My passion is for creating beautiful and moody images which are full of narrative and interest.  I love local unique dishes, people, produce and history. Food is at the heart of living and the passion which surrounds it really tickles my tastebuds!

When I’m not out photographing or working on something to do with photography, I can be found drinking tea and pontificating, or travelling and exploring new food, people and places.

This year is going to be a busy one, and I’m planning lots of travel and personal projects, but there’s always room for more. If you’d like to work with me on a project I’d love to hear from you – please drop me a line or give me a call.
